I was just reading your story ‘The Undertaker’s Task’ and became intrigued about your details of the Sadler Witch. You see, the Sadler’s were my family – my second great-grandmother was Sarah Malissa Sadler and my great grandparents go back to the original plantation owner. I was just curious as to the origin of these folk tales. There are a number of people in the Morgan family in Bessemer, Alabama – the location of Sadler House. I was curious if Lilith Morgan was a real person or entirely a product of fiction. A local ghost hunter has asked my permission to be in the house overnight, and at this point I have declined. I LOVE these kind of stories, and they are especially intriguing taking place in a family home. Thanks so much.
